The latest issue of Subterranean Online is a special K.J. Parker one

One of my favorite modern fantasy writers is K.J. Parker. As a matter of fact, if I consider it correctly she/he (this aspect has no significance) is among my top favorites of all the writers I read and enjoyed. Ingenious and meticulous, K.J. Parker doesn’t leave anything to chance. Even the smaller details are taken into account and from all these result complex worlds, strong characters and powerful stories. K.J. Parker has also the talent to bring a smile on the lips of the reader with intelligence and the help of witty protagonists. To my delight, Subterranean Online recently released its summer 2013 issue, one that is a special K.J. Parker issue. With two new stories, “The Sun and I” and “Illuminated”, and a non-fiction article, “Rich Men’s Skins; A Social History of Armour”, there is plenty for any fan of K.J. Parker’s works to enjoy. Of course, the issue contains also Kat Howard’s “Stage Blood”, Joe R. Lansdale’s “The Case of the Stalking Shadow”, Catherynne M. Valente’s “The Shoot-Out at Burnt Corn Ranch Over the Bride of the World” and Bruce McAllister and W.S. Adams’ “Don’t Ask”, but I was already won by the “Special K.J. Parker issue” on the cover.

I've never really felt the need to buy a Subterranean magazine... until now! I bought a copy of Purple and Black not too long ago and it's one of my favorite books in my collection. Love me some Parker.
