In the mailbox & on the blogosphere

I received new books this week to my great joy:

- "Empire in Black and Gold" by Adrian Tchaikovsky (through the courtesy of Pan MacMillan);
- "The Dog of the North" by Tim Stretton (through the courtesy of Pan MacMillan);
- "Shadow Kingdoms" by Robert E. Howard (through the courtesy of Dorchester Publishing);
- "People of the Dark" by Robert E. Howard (through the courtesy of Dorchester Publishing);
- "Beyond the Black River" by Robert E. Howard (through the courtesy of Dorchester Publishing);
- "The Carhullan Army" by Sarah Hall (through the courtesy of Faber & Faber).

Thank you very much.

On the blogosphere we can find very interesting things, as usual:

- Robert, at Fantasy Book Critic, reviewed "Vicious Circle" by Mike Carey, interviewed the author and has three sets of Terry Brooks' "Genesis of Shannara" trilogy for three lucky North Americans;

- Theresa, at Fantasy & Sci-Fi Lovin' Book Reviews, has one copy of "House of Whispers" by Margaret Lucke for a lucky winner;

- Jeff, at Fantasy Book News & Reviews, has an original review in 4 parts of "Elantris" by Brandon Sanderson;

As you can see a lot of interesting things.

thanks for the link, DW.

I see The Name of the Wind on your horizon. I liked that one quite a bit..will look forward to your review on it.

Jeff, don't mention it :)
I heard very much about "The Name of the Wind", so I'm having some expectations from it.

I'll be interested to see what you think of "Empire in Black and Gold". It got a mixed review in SFX, but the 'sphere has been positive. In other words, I'm on the fence and I'd like to get off it, one way or the other.
