Dark Wolf went social

For a while now I have three new accounts on the wide world of Internet, on Goodreads, Twitter and Facebook. I experimented a bit through them and I discovered a lot of interesting things to do. The most important thing is that I am keeping track with my friends and acquaintances easier, but the unfortunate part is that my time is shrinking even more. I’ll admit that I’ll not be able to cover them all, on Twitter my presence is rather scarce, and priority will have the older habits, but if you would like to keep track with me on these sites I am glad to see you there as well :)

Mihai, I understand you very well. But there is always a possibility to stay in contact. Last week I had to divide my spare time between family, reading NIGHTS OF VILLJAMUR, playing ANNO for Wii, internet activities. Result: two winner - family and ANNO for Wii ....
That means I'm nearly hopelessly behind with mails, comments and so on. On the other hand I really enjoyed the time I spent with my family and playing.

I too have a twitter, myspace, blogger all that. And it's hard to keep them all going. It's nice to pop in once in a while but I realize I don't have the time for all of that :(. I think I haven't logged into myspace in a month!

Of the three, I use Twitter some, Facebook about once a week, and Good Reads not at all. I'm not much of a social networker either!

Michael, my playing days are fewer and fewer. I mostly play FIFA 09 now, but that is one of the things I cut most of the time. Family is very important and is the winner every time :)

Cindy, I know what you mean. I was visiting a few forums as well, but lately I go mainly to BookSpotCentral. The other ones are neglected to no presence at all :)

Tia, I tend to go with Facebook most of the times, but I don't spend much time there. Twitter and Goodreads I use only ocassionally :)

I have considered these but my time already is taken up with the blog, working on my own writing, my day job and my family. There are only so many minutes to shuffle around. I expect when the rewrites are in progress the blog will just have to take a back seat for awhile.

Barbara, there are so many things we want to do, but it is not always possible :)

I've given up on everything but Facebook. The rest are just too much effort for little reward whereas FB has all my friends in one place as well as a lot of fun things to do.

Same here. I tend to use Facebook almost exclusively, since there are many fun things to do, besides keeping in touch with my friends :)
