In a ceremony held on 3rd of September at AussieCon 4, the winners of the 2010 Ditmar Awards have been announced. The Ditmar Awards recognize the achievement in Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror and are awarded annually since 1969.

I just found out about Slights a week or two ago. Sounded promising--and apparently award worthy to boot. It's on the wish list at any rate.
"Slights" was very well received since its release. I have a copy of the novel too and I hope to get a chance to read it really soon :)
